BLACK HEART SHAFT SANDING PREP
I’ve been using this for the past 15 years & have decided to share it with you guys. I use it on ALL new shafts & any repairs, where I have to sand the shaft much. I also find it useful to use just before final sanding of forearms. The purpose of this liquid is to raise the torn fibers, caused by sanding, so they can be raised & sanded smooth. It dries quickly on it’s own ( 10-12 drops, is all that‘s needed), or you can speed the drying by burnishing the wood with a dry paper towel. For shafts I start after using 400 grit sandpaper, let dry, then repeat after 600, 1000 & then 1500 grit. Then burnish & use a sealer. ( Shake before using)
